Our client, an emerging leader and innovator in the agricultural sector, is actively seeking highly motivated and passionate HR Officers to support essential human resource functions within their farm. If you have a strong commitment to excellence and a desire to make a tangible impact on an essential sector, we invite you to join their team.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end recruitment processes for various agricultural roles, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selectionDevelop and implement training programs to enhance Farm employee skills and knowledge specific to the agricultural industryAct as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefitsFacilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and departing employeesAssist in performance management activities, including goal setting and conducting performance reviewsEnsure compliance with labor laws and agricultural regulations, handling any related grievances or disputes effectivelyMaintain and update employee records in the HR database while ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive informationManage time sheets, biometrics and leave for payroll processingEnsure that you conduct site visits around the site to check on the conditions of welfare and employee wellnessSupport the development of organizational culture and employee engagement initiativesConduct salary reviews and manage benefit programs relevant to the employees in the agricultural sectorPrepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and improve HR practicesRequirementsDiploma in Human Resources is required but a Degree is an added advantage3+ years' experience in Human Resources , preferably in a farm or agriculture setting is preferredExperience with agricultural practices and industrial relations / workforce dynamics is an added advantageProven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance managementStrong understanding of local labour laws and regulations, especially those specific to agricultureExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levelsDemonstrable proficiency in common HR software, Payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite applicationsStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to handle sensitive information with integrity, discretion and confidentialityProactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyMust be a member of ZIHRMA valid drivers license is preferredHow To ApplyIf you are passionate about human resources and agriculture, we invite you to submit your application before 21st November 2025.
