Today, we’re focused on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring we are building safe communities where we live, work and play.It’s an exciting time to join the team at Hydro One!Specific AccountabilitiesProvide consistent, timely, and accurate information to employees and managers in accordance with job advertisements and relevant provisions of the collective agreementReview pending requisitions for accurate information, and prepare them to be postedAssist Talent Acquisition Consultants in drafting offer lettersPrepare and distribute career postings and other ad hoc communications regarding updates in the recruitment process or job advertisementsAssist in coordinating various events (co-op tour, co-op orientation, etc)Schedule interviews for hiring managers and candidatesProvide support in mass hires by managing the job advertisements, preparing spreadsheets and coordinating and maintaining consistent communication with the Line of BusinessInitiate background checks for external candidates and follow up for further documentation or information if requiredProvide technical support for the relevant Talent Acquisition modules to Hiring Managers and the Talent Acquisition departmentProvide other ad hoc support to the Talent Acquisition department as it pertains to the recruitment cycleSelection CriteriaPost Secondary education, strong interest in Talent Acquisition 1-3 years’ of relevant experienceStrong competency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and WordExcellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task, be flexible and adapt to changeWorking experience with ATS/HRIS (SuccessFactors), SAP, ServiceNow preferredExperience in a unionized environment is an assetResults oriented, with the ability to think analytically and question the status quoAt Hydro One we understand that the success and strength of our business rests with our people.
