As part of our rapidly growing team, you will play an important and unique role in working towards our mission to create the best people management system for our customers so they can spend more time doing what they love.The Role:We’re a 150-person remote-first company operating across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a People & Culture Manager who can strengthen manager capability, drive accountability, and build scalable people systems.This is a hands-on, high-impact role — equally comfortable coaching managers through complex employee situations, leading employee relations, running core people operations, and facilitating live training sessions that improve leadership capability across the company. You’ll partner closely with leadership and oversee employee relations, performance management, manager enablement, and people operations alongside our HR Coordinator.Location:We’re embracing new ways of working and continually evolving how we collaborate to ensure everyone feels connected and supported. For this role, we prefer candidates who can spend regular time in our downtown Vancouver office to help build team culture and drive collaboration. That said, if you’re based elsewhere in Canada and feel strongly aligned, we’d still love to hear from you.Responsibilities:Employee Relations & Manager SupportAdvise and coach managers on performance, feedback, and difficult conversationsLead investigations and resolve employee relations mattersGuide performance improvement plans and terminationsEnsure compliance across Canada, US, and MexicoManager Development & TrainingDesign, host, and facilitate manager training sessions (virtual) on performance management, accountability, coaching, and feedbackBuild and maintain a structured manager onboarding program for newly promoted leadersLead quarterly manager forums to align expectations and share best practicesReinforce consistent management standards across all teamsPerformance & Manager EffectivenessStrengthen our performance management frameworkSupport goal-setting, performance check-ins, and accountability processesDefine what “great management” looks like at our companyPartner with leadership to improve manager outcomes and team performancePeople Operations OversightPartner with HR Coordinator on payroll, benefits, compliance, and documentationImprove and streamline HR processes and policiesSupport compensation cycles, promotions, and role changesEnsure employment practices align with local regulationsStrategic InitiativesPartner with leadership on org design, workforce planning, and successionSupport engagement initiatives and culture-buildingContribute to the overall People strategy and roadmapWhy Push?Do what you love!
