Job Title:HR Generalist – Middle East OperationsLocation:Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaReports To:Regional HR Manager / International HR Business PartnerSalary Range: 120k-130k SAR annuallyPosition Overview:Chronicle Heritage Arabia is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our growing operations across KSA and GCC countries. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, GCC payroll regulations, and experience managing HR processes in compliance with regional requirements. This role will be responsible for end-to-end HR functions, including payroll administration, visa processing, employee relations, performance management, and health & safety compliance.Key Responsibilities:Payroll & ComplianceProcess monthly payroll accurately and on time for KSA and GCC employees.Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and GCC payroll regulations, including GOSI, WPS, and end-of-service benefits.Maintain accurate payroll records and liaise with finance for reconciliation.Government Relations & Visa ProcessingManage visa applications, renewals, and cancellations (business visas, Iqama, work permits) through government portals (e.g., Muqeem, Absher, MRN, Qiwa, GOSI).Coordinate with government agencies and authorized service providers for employee documentation and compliance.HR Operations & Employee RelationsServe as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues promptly.Administer leave management, benefits programs, and health insurance for employees.Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations.Performance ManagementAssist in implementing performance appraisal systems aligned with company objectives.Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development.Health & SafetyEnsure compliance with Middle East-specific health and safety standards.Conduct periodic audits and training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.3–5 years of HR experience in KSA or GCC countries, with strong payroll and compliance expertise.In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, GCC employment regulations, and visa processing requirements.Proficiency in government portals (Muqeem, Absher, Qiwa, GOSI).Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Arabic.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred:Experience in construction, heritage, or project-based industries.Certification in HR or payroll management (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent).Why Join Us?Chronicle Heritage Arabia offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth, competitive compensation, and the chance to contribute to heritage projects across the Middle East.
