Job Description

BRM Brands is seeking a hands-on and proactive HR Officer to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment and has strong Industrial Relations experience, including CCMA matters. Key Responsibilities• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation• Support recruitment processes including interview coordination and onboarding• Provide day-to-day HR support to production supervisors and managers• Manage attendance, absenteeism trends, and shift-based workforce support• Handle employee relations matters including discipline, investigations, and hearings• Support and represent the company in CCMA processes where required• Compile HR reports including absenteeism, turnover, overtime, and recruitment metrics• Coordinate performance review cycles and ensure proper documentationMinimum RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or related field2–3 years’ experience as an HR Officer in a manufacturing/production environmentStrong Industrial Relations (IR) experienceCCMA case management experience is essentialKnowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA)Strong MS Excel and administrative skills; Key Competencies• Strong organisation and attention to detail• High integrity and confidentiality• Practical problem-solving ability• Confident communicator able to engage supervisors and managers• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with HR metrics• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environmentWhy Join Us?You’ll play a key role in supporting operational teams, strengthening HR processes, and ensuring fair and compliant employee relations practices.
