Title: HR Business Services ManagerLocation: StuttgartWorking pattern: Primarily office based with one day a week from homeSalary: Circa €100,000 plus bonusContract: PermanentLanguages: Fluent German and English requiredOur client, a long-established international manufacturer with a strong presence across the region, is searching for an experienced HR Business Services Manager to take ownership of people operations and employee support across several local sites. This is a key appointment that demands credibility, sound judgement and a steady hand in a fast-moving environment.The role sits within a well-structured HR function and reports into the regional leader for business services. You will play an essential part in shaping day to day HR activity while also advising on longer term workforce considerations. The position requires regular on-site presence and active involvement with stakeholders at all levels.Key Responsibilities: • Provide trusted guidance to managers and employees on HR matters, employee relations issues and German labour legislation. • Lead activity across the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, development, organisational change, performance discussions and departures. • Oversee recurring HR processes such as performance cycles, pay reviews and engagement initiatives. • Ensure adherence to internal policies and local agreements. • Work closely with employee representative bodies to maintain constructive dialogue. • Contribute to site leadership teams, offering insight that supports operational and strategic decisions.Candidate Profile: • Degree or vocational qualification in human resources or a related field. • Strong HR generalist background, ideally gained in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Confident communicator with the ability to influence, challenge and support in equal measure. • Practical mindset with the ability to operate independently and resolve issues with clarity and purpose. • Comfortable travelling between sites when required. • Excellent command of German and English, spoken and written.This is a solid opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who wants to have a visible impact and work in a setting where sound HR practice is valued.
