Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, for an In-House Counsel. The In-House Counsel will provide legal advice and support relating to all aspects of non-bank lending operations, including contract drafting and review, compliance with relevant regulations, and managing legal risks. The role includes working closely with stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal standards, drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on property and finance-related legal matters, and contributing to the company's overall risk management strategies. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, Contract Law, and Compliance RegulationsExperience with Property Law, Finance, and Lending transactionsProficiency in Drafting Legal Documents, Negotiating Agreements, and Legal AnalysisEffective Communication and Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAdmittance to practice law in Australia with relevant legal qualificationsPrior experience in the lending or financial services industry is a plus
