Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a Legal Advisor, based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility to work from home on certain occasions. The Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing legal advice on a range of issues, preparing and reviewing legal documents, offering guidance on labor and employment law, and addressing legal matters relevant to the organization's operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and supporting business decisions with sound legal strategies. Qualifications Proficiency in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply legal regulations effectivelyExpertise in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and reviewing agreements and contractsStrong background in handling Legal Issues and providing strategic Legal AdviceKnowledge of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to advise on workplace compliance and regulationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent, with relevant certifications being a plusExperience within IT or cybersecurity industries is an advantage
