POSITION: INSTRUMENT TECHNICIANGRADE: C4DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERINGRole DetailsAscensis Company Ltd, a Business Partner of Abosso Goldfields Limited is seeking to employ an experienced and suitably qualified individual to the position of Instrument Technician to work at the Engineering Department of Abosso Goldfields Limited. Incumbent will be responsible for identifying problems, advising on remedial action and assisting in developing effective electrical and instrumentation standards and procedures.About the role• Assists in developing effective electrical and instrumentation standards and procedures• Assists in the development and implementation of workshop flow systems • Calibrate and maintain Instruments within his area of supervision• Developing maintenance and service standards in conformance to standards• Undertake fault tracking and routine maintenance on all areas under your supervision• Initiate cost saving practices and productivity improvements of specially assigned projects• Ensure execution of projects according to specifications and design agreed on• Identify problems and advice on remedial action• Maintains a safe and friendly working environmentAbout you• Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering• Minimum of five years working experience in a similar role• In depth computer knowledge (hardware and software applications)• Basic understanding repair of instrumentation equipment• Demonstrate analytical, decision making and technical knowledge• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills• Good knowledge of electrical, instrumentation & electronic test equipment and the relevant tools• Knowledge of Citect SCADA and Ge Fanuc PLCs & Networking and general plant instrumentation• Medical fitness for the position and environment • Must possess a valid Ghanaian driver’s license and ability to drive light duty vehicles Applications can be submitted via: prime@ascensishr.com Closing Date: 25th November 2025
