You will be responsible for completing month end processes and maintaining supporting schedules. This position also works closely with Sales , Operations and Inventory.Duties and ResponsibilitiesFinancial statement preparationMonth end adjusting journal entriesEnsure all relevant financial information is entered into the GL on a timely basis.Leadership and guidance to Billing, AP, and SalesProvide job and operating costingBudget preparationProviding reconciliations and supporting schedules, investigate variancesComplete government remittance (Sales tax returns, EHC, Fuel tax)Communicate and work directly with manager on year end audit dutiesLiaise with auditors, government, and other stakeholdersPreparing ad hoc analysis to the Finance and Operations managersQualifications and competenciesMust have’s:The successful candidate will ideally possess a minimum of 1-4 years of experience in a financial environment within a large organization.
