Job Title: Inventory Control CoordinatorLocation: PanamaType of Contract: Full-TimeSalary Range: USD $1,900.00Language Requirements: English/Spanish proficiency for supplier and internal communicationWe are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Coordinator with strong experience in stock management, ERP systems, and process optimization to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory levels, reducing discrepancies, and supporting efficient supply chain operations. Your work will directly impact inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall cost control.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate tracking and alignment between physical stock and system records.Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast inventory needs based on demand and lead times.Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies promptly.Implement and maintain audit processes such as cycle counts and annual inventory audits.Analyze inventory data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities in turnover and replenishment.Use inventory management software, ERP systems, and WMS tools to track stock flow and support decision-making.Review and improve inventory workflows to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance storage and handling processes.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate improvements in lead times and delivery schedules.Identify and mitigate inventory risks, including shortages, excess stock, and damaged goods.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.Must-Have QualificationsBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.3 - 5 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations.Strong proficiency with inventory control software, ERP systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS).Advanced analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed inventory recommendations.Knowledge of forecasting, replenishment strategies, and best practices in inventory management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and supplier coordination.Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsExperience in process improvement or lean inventory practices.Familiarity with multi-site inventory operations or international suppliers.
