Investment Banking Associate

SvG currently has the following vacancy in our office in Almaty which may require some domestic or international travel subject to project and client needs:Position: Analyst, Investment BankingLocation: Almaty, KazakhstanRequired experience and skills:· Up to 3 years relevant work experience involving exposure to corporate finance, M&A, advisory, capital markets or/and project finance transactions desirable· Sound knowledge of the CIS region, with a good understanding of relevant industry sectors, including oil & gas, metals and mining, financial services sectors etc.· Result-oriented with strong desire to gain exposure to complex investment banking transactions, and executing related tasks including the in-depth analysis of companies and markets, the preparation of professional documents and presentations, and the coordination of processes· Solid understanding of, and initial experience with financial/company/industry analysis, financial models, and valuation methodologies· Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills, with a strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and AI as a distinct advantage· Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment, multi-task, and present work results in a structured and cohesive manner.Preferred education:Graduate or Master degree in finance, economics or/and business from a leading universityKnowledge:Fluency in both English and Russian desirable, Kazakh and Uzbek welcome Please send your CVs toinfo@scholzvongleich.com
