Through our network of global development centers, Citco invests heavily in technology development, security, and infrastructure to ensure our clients continue to receive award-winning products that underpin our commitment to service excellence.As a core member of our Innovation Development team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.ResponsibilitiesYour Role:Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks Delta Lake and Apache SparkImplement data workflows using Databricks notebooks and jobsCreate and optimize data models for both batch and streaming data processingDevelop and maintain data quality frameworks and monitoring systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutionsWrite efficient SQL queries and optimize performance of existing queriesImplement data security and governance practicesBuild and maintain documentation for data processes and architectures i.e medallion architectureExplore and apply new and upcoming features of the Databricks or other toolsQualificationsAbout You:Experience And Technical Skills1 – 2 years of specialized hands-on experience in DataBricks.In-depth knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark, and/or Scala, preferrable within the Databricks environment.Experience in using AWS (AWS Glue, S3, Lambda)Experience In Using Databricks Required.Strong expertise integrating Databricks with AWS data storage and services like S3, Athena, and Glue.Demonstrable experience and skills in real-time and batch data processing using Databricks with problem-solving Databricks challenges preferrableExperience with PL/SQL programming, creating SQL scripts and writing stored proceduresAbility to work in a fast paced, complex IT environmentExcellent Oral And Written Communications Skills RequiredStrong project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain prioritiesStrong analytic, problem solving, business judgment and organization skills requiredKnowledgeable in BI Tools such as Power BI and/or QLIKHybrid set-upMid shift scheduleEducationBachelors' degree or equivalent experienceDemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and trainingDesired Skills And ExpertiseDatabricks Data Science/Engineer certificationsPowerBI, Predictive Analytics, AI/ML, Medallion architectureOur BenefitsYour wellbeing is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
