Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Level 1 Computer Technician. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal and/or external customers experiencing technical difficulties with their computers, software, and peripherals.Responsibilities:Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.Diagnoses and troubleshoot common computer hardware and software problems.Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and repairs (e.g., replacing RAM, troubleshooting printer issues).Escalate complex issues to senior technicians for further resolution.Document all interactions with users, including problem descriptions and solutions implemented.Assist with maintaining and updating knowledgebase articles and user guides.Qualifications:Advanced computer student, IT technician or equivalent experience.At least three years of experience in similar positions.Strong understanding of computer hardware and software components.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Customer service orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional support.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent verbal and writing English communication.Benefits:Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced IT environment.Competitive salary and benefits package.Schedule:5 days/week.
