Bring People Closer With Intelligent And Secure Digital Experiences.In the role as IT Security Specialist in our IT Security & Network team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will help protect and enhance GN’s global IT security posture based on a zero-trust model, while supporting key infrastructure operations and ensuring a stable and secure technology environment.The team you will be part of:Welcome to IT Security & Network, part of IT Enterprise Platforms in Group IT. We collaborate across the global GN Group, developing, supporting, and maintaining technologies, tools, and processes that serve as the foundation for GN’s digital ecosystem. You will be our IT Security SME for the Infrastructure Operations Team in Warsaw, and work at the same time very closely with our colleagues in the Headquarters.In the EP&C domain, we are around 150 IT professionals—architects, engineers, operations specialists, delivery managers, and cybersecurity experts—working together to design, build, and run global platforms including networks, cloud and on-prem infrastructure, databases, collaboration tools, end-user devices, identity & access, and cybersecurity.You will join a highly skilled, supportive, and enthusiastic team of diverse specialists working closely with other IT teams, our CISO organization, and stakeholders in a dynamic, global environment.Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security posture, proactively responding to security alerts and system issuesDetect, analyze, and respond to IT security incidents in collaboration with the Security Operations Center and architecture teamsSupport business users by resolving security-related service requests and technical issuesMaintain documentation including operational handbooks, knowledge base articles, and system configurationsWork closely with infrastructure and security teams to support continuous monitoring, investigations, and security initiativesParticipate in a 24/7 rotational on-call schedule for incident response and after-hours supportContribute to continuous improvement efforts by strengthening security controls, streamlining processes, and enhancing operational efficiency.To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:Bring experience from IT security operationsHave familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and core Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IISAre comfortable working in hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem and cloud, e.g., Azure/AWS/Cloudflare)Communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teamsHave strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAre motivated to learn, adapt to evolving security technologies, and improve processesUnderstand incident management and ITIL-based service practicesHave a relevant academic background within IT or cybersecuritySecurity certification such as CISSP or equivalent knowledge is beneficialCommunicate with ease in English, both written and verbally.At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible.
