IT Support Engineer – London – In-Office + Site VisitsLocation: London (office-based with regular client site visits)Type: Full-time, Monday to FridayLevel: 1st Line with some 2nd Line experienceClient: A growing, London-based MSPWe’re working with a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in London who are looking to hire a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their close-knit and skilled technical team.This is a full-time, office-based role, with regular travel to client sites across London – ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face support, wants to grow their technical skills, and thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment.The RoleYou’ll be part of a small but highly experienced support team, handling a mix of 1st and 2nd line support tasks across a wide variety of client environments.This is a great opportunity for:A strong 1st Line Engineer looking to step up and gain more hands-on experience in 2nd line and project work.Your week will typically involve working from the central London office, supporting clients remotely and travelling to client sites (mostly in London) for installations, troubleshooting, or project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support for client users – remotely and on-siteTroubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile issuesSupport Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)Assist with Windows Server, Active Directory, and user administration tasksHelp deploy and manage Microsoft Intune and basic Azure AD setupsWork with networking technologies (basic DNS, VPNs, firewall rules)Document resolutions and maintain accurate client recordsEscalate complex issues to senior engineers when neededOccasionally assist with small-scale project tasks and rolloutsWhat We're Looking For1–3+ years’ experience in an IT support role (preferably within an MSP or multi-client environment)A good understanding of:Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)Windows 10/11 and basic Windows Server adminActive Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)Basic networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls)Strong communication and customer service skills – you’ll be working directly with end-usersA proactive mindset and willingness to learn from experienced colleaguesFull UK work rights and currently based in London (or very close), with easy access to travel across the cityBonus Points For:Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Azure, or RMM/PSA tools (e.g. NinjaOne, ConnectWise, Datto)Microsoft certifications or studying towards them (MS-900, AZ-104, etc.)PowerShell basics or interest in automation/scriptingAwareness of security best practices, ISO27001, or GDPRWhat’s on OfferFull-time, Mon–Fri only (no weekend or night shifts)In-office role with regular client site visits – no remote-only workLearn from a highly experienced team – ideal for career growthExposure to a wide range of modern tech, tools, and client industriesTraining and certification support to help you upskillOpportunity to get involved in project work as you growSupportive, friendly work culture with real progression potential
