Hi All,This role is ideal for candidates looking to develop their delivery management expertise within Defence Digital.Jr. Delivery ManagerType PermModel HybridSC candidates required2 days Travel to client officeResponsibilitiesScheduling and Dependencies Support: • Assist in maintaining and updating project schedules, milestone tracking, and timelines. • Support the identification, monitoring, and management of project and programme dependencies. • Provide status updates to senior delivery managers and programme stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy. • Support integration with other project management disciplines, including risk, cost, and configuration management.Benefits Management: • Assist in tracking expected project benefits, ensuring alignment with programme objectives. • Maintain benefit registers and provide regular reporting to enable senior decision-making. • Support analysis of changes or delays that may impact benefits realisation.Competition and Approvals Support: • Provide administrative and coordination support for procurement activities, including Invitations to Negotiate (ITN) and other competitive processes. • Support the preparation of documentation, assessment of options, and collation of approvals-related artefacts. • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely submission, review, and approval of changes or procurement actions. • Maintain records of decisions, change requests, and competition outcomes for audit and traceability.Stakeholder Coordination: • Work collaboratively with project, programme, and portfolio teams to ensure smooth delivery and effective communication. • Provide status updates, dashboards, and reports to senior delivery managers and governance boards. • Escalate issues, risks, or conflicts that could impact schedule, dependencies, benefits, or approvals.Continuous Improvement: • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tools, and reporting. • Support knowledge sharing and embedding of best practice across project and programme teams.RequirementsEssential: • Some experience in project or programme support, ideally in Defence or government environments. • Familiarity with project management processes, scheduling, and dependency tracking. • Basic understanding of benefits management and programme-level reporting. • Ability to coordinate and support procurement/competition activities. • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills. • Able to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and teams.
