Local Applicants WelcomeDepartment MarketingLocation Yangon, MyanmarReporting to Brand LeadRole PermanentBrand ManagerThe position focuses on developing and articulating the brand's positioning and unique selling propositions, preparing annual brand plans, and setting clear objectives and KPIs.

It involves analyzing market trends, supporting trade marketing and commercial teams, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels. The role also includes working with the product development team to launch new products, conducting post-campaign reviews, and preparing reports for senior management. Additionally, it requires managing A&P expenditure and assisting with vendor selection, quality communication, and asset delivery.

As the Brand Manager in the area of Marketing, you will Brand Strategy DevelopmentDefine and articulate the brand’s positioning, differentiation, and unique selling propositionsPrepare the annual Brand Plans under the alignment with the Portfolio Lead via leading consumer understanding, category and landscape analysis, and learnings from previous executions, and recommend the key big bets for the Myanmar marketSet clear objectives and performance indicators (KPIs)Marketing and Brand ManagementAnalyze the market to identify trends, customer needs, opportunities, risks, and competitive landscapeBe the brand gatekeeper in supporting & coordinating with Trade Marketing and commercial teams to deliver best-in-class activations in the tradeTake responsibility for the communication asset development of all new product information (including price, availability, images) at least 6 weeks prior to launch, where requiredEnsure brand messaging and positioning are consistent across all channelsProduct Development and ManagementWork closely with the product development team to create and launch new productsPost campaign reviews to ensure tracking of KPls and analysis of performanceAssist with the preparation of reports and reviews for visiting senior management and including presentations such as formal Business Reviews and annual Brand PlansComplete commentary for monthly and quarterly reports required by the regionFinancialsConstant management of A&P expenditure, ensuring that committed expenses remain within the approved master budget and in line with brand strategyAssist Portfolio Lead with vendor selection and assessment, and delivery of quality communication assetsRequirementsBachelor's Degree or higherMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior brand management role, preferably in the FMCG categoryExcellent skills with Microsoft Office tools - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
