Junior Marine Engineer / Purchaser

Position OverviewThe Junior Marine Engineer – Purchaser will be responsible for handling the daily procurement of marine spare parts, stores, provisions, and services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical and commercial awareness, and a proactive attitude in ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with companys' high service standards.  Key Responsibilities: Handle requisitions for spare parts, provisions, stores, and services. Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers. Follow up on terms to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery schedules. Issue purchase orders and monitor supplier performance and order progress. Coordinate with logistics for shipment, documentation, and timely delivery. Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company procedures. Follow up, upload, and approve supplier invoices based on quotations and purchase orders. Issue relevant invoices to clients in line with purchase or service orders. Liaise with Management to align purchasing priorities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management in marine sector will be considered as an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.  What We Offer: Competitive remuneration package, including a 13th salary. Annual performance-based bonus. Provident Fund Plan. A modern workspace with excellent working conditions. Continuous learning and development opportunities. Leave policy: 21 days of annual leave.
