Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area, integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesFocus on day-to-day Greater China Indirect Sourcing projects and ensure alignment with business prioritiesEvaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and plan programs to meet business needsDefine supplier strategy, including management and optimization of supplier panelsLead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers, including terms and conditions, Statements of Work, and Master Service AgreementsDrive cost-out initiatives, localization, and supplier optimization projects to achieve the lowest possible cost for goods and services while balancing quality and schedule needsProactively collaborate with global and regional sourcing teams as well as suppliers to improve On-Time Delivery to target levelsConduct supplier performance reviews, convey performance expectations, and address sensitive issuesProvide analytical data and implement improvement plans to enhance supplier performance and sourcing processesLead process enhancements and support the continuous development of the Procurement function toward best practicesDevelop and implement regional sourcing strategies that align with global and regional business goals and long-term objectivesAdvise requesters and stakeholders or leaders regarding Sourcing strategies, approaches, processes, procedures, and progress in procurement activitiesFocus on and demonstrate experience in project management and handling complex projectsEnsure compliance with company policies and processes, including but not limited to Sourcing, Compliance, Commercial, Quality, Production, EHS, HR, Lean, etc.Perform other tasks assigned by organizational or functional leadersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited universityMinimum 3 years of work experience in Sourcing and/or Commodity ManagementStrong negotiation skillsStrong ERP knowledgeFluent in both oral and written EnglishDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.Established project management skills.Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impactNoteTo comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA.
