The Impact You'll MakeThis role requires a blend of engineering knowledge, negotiation skills, and market analysis to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials while reducing total costs. He/She will optimize our supply chain, identify reliable suppliers, and drive cost-effective procurement strategies with strong technical background in semiconductor components, manufacturing processes, and supplier relationship management.What You’ll Be Doing Supplier Sourcing & Onboarding Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for IGBT power modules components, with focus on mechanics, e.g. injection molding, stamping and forging lead and coordinate for supplier onboarding with cross-function departments, R&D, Quality, Global Category Management and supplier regarding technical, commertial and other relevant topics Cost Optimization Analyze BOMs and collaborate with R&D/engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities Lead RFQ processes, negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers Monitor market trends to mitigate supply risks Supply Chain Management Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, resolve technical issues, and manage lead times Develop contingency plans for critical components Implement VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) or JIT (Just-in-Time) strategies where applicable Cross-Functional Collaboration Support Quality teams for escalation of supplier-related quality issues Partner with R&D to support new product development (NPI) and component lifecycle management Data-Driven Decision Making Use ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track supplier performance metrics (OTD, PPM, cost variance). Benchmark global supplier markets and maintain a competitive supplier database.What We're Looking For Mechanic education background bachelor or higher and work expierence Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and global market trends for power modules Proficiency in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) frameworks Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals) Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.What You'll Get from Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
