Role Overview:Responsible for overseeing an organization's cash flow, financial assets, and risk management. This role involves a mix of hands-on operational tasks and strategic financial planning. Role Responsibilities:Cash and liquidity managementDirect daily cash management operations, including cash positioning, wire transfers, ACH payments, and account funding.Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.Optimize cash balances and manage cash concentration and disbursement strategies.Risk managementIdentify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange (FX) risk, interest rate risk, and counterparty credit risk.Develop and execute hedging strategies to protect against currency and interest rate fluctuations.Ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury policies to mitigate operational risk.Banking relationships and operationsManage relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions.Negotiate banking agreements, services, and fees to optimize the cost of banking services.Administer bank accounts, including account openings, closings, and signatory updates. Investment and debt managementManage excess cash investments according to company policy.Oversee the debt portfolio, ensuring timely payments and compliance.Reporting and analysisPrepare treasury reports, cash position summaries, and liquidity metrics for management.Perform financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making. Team leadership and cross-functional supportSupervise and mentor junior treasury staff.Collaborate with other departments like accounting, tax, and legal. Education & Experience:CA qualified/finalist.5 to 8+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance.Skills:Financial modeling, proficiency with treasury management systems (TMS), ERP systems, and advanced Excel. Knowledge of financial markets and debt financing is also important.Analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are also necessary.
