Each of our mātāpuna (campus libraries) is like a fountain of knowledge for its campus — a place where people come together to learn, connect, and be inspired.Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the roleTe Mātāpuna Library and Learning Services is looking to recruit three Learning Specialists. These roles require expert-level knowledge of the tertiary teaching and learning environment and will be responsible for developing and delivering the implementation of an inclusive academic learning support service for students with additional educational needs, particularly focused on the academic challenges faced by neurodivergent students and/or speakers of English as an additional language.Mō te tangata | About youIn this position you will work collaboratively to develop and deliver an inclusive academic learning support service tailored for students with additional educational needs. This includes creating and facilitating personalised teaching interventions including one-on-one sessions, small groups, workshops, orientation, and educational programmes that support academic success.
