Areas of focus may include but are not limited to: the composition and motion of the water column; coastal processes such as tides, storm surges, and sea level rise; ice dynamics and cryosphere-ocean interactions; and the use of geospatial tools including remote sensing and GIS to analyse environmental change. Research strengths may also encompass biophysical coupling, ocean-atmosphere interactions, and sediment transport in marine and estuarine environments.
