Successful applicants will receive all recruitment related correspondence via the email account registered on the application form.Aneurin Bevan University Health Board support flexible working.Please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any time should it be filled via the internal redeployment processJob OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the Lung Cancer Admin Team within Respiratory based at Chest Clinic, St Woolos Hospital.The role of the Lung Cancer Admin Clerk will be to manage the referrals and booking of the lung cancer clinics for both St Woolos and Nevill Hall Hospital.The post will be diverse and demanding but satisfying. The post holder will be expected to work alongside and in partnership with a wide range of Health Care Professionals both internal and external to the Health Board.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.Main duties of the jobAssisting with the management of patients' pathways within the Lung Cancer service, including referral input and management of outpatient appointments.Action electronic referrals via CWSCollating and inputting clinic outcomesPreparation of clinics including documentation and organising equipment if required.Support Respiratory Consultants, Respiratory nurses and secretaries with booking and administrative duties.Provide admin support for weekly cancer tracker and preparation of MDT.Working for our organisationAneurin Bevan University Health Board is a multi-award-winning NHS organisation with a passion for caring. Able to work under pressure.Desirable criteriaPrevious NHS Admin expereinceKnowledgeEssential criteriaGood Standard of education to at least GCSE level. Computer Literate. Knowledge of Admin ProcessesDesirable criteriaCustomer Service Training. Knowledge of WPAS and CWSPersonal AttributesEssential criteriaFlexible and adaptable approach to the needs of the service.
