Job DetailsDescriptionAbout the Role:We are looking to welcome an energetic self-starter, mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Digital Corrugate Production team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and embraces our Continuous Improvement working culture.The Esko Table Operator plays a critical role by helping produce Digital Items and working as a team in a manufacturing environment. We embrace inclusiveness in our workplace, so we can utilize each person’s talents and strengths.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for operating our Esko tables to cut Digital items using different types of Corrugate accurately and in a timely fashion.Ensure Digital Items are cut correctly using the proper files and measurementsNavigate through the computer to select proper files and set up Esko Tables with correct measurementsUtilize small tools to change Crease Wheels and Cutting BladesBe able to load tables with board (helper available)Pull board off from tables and strip off trimmed areasPalletize orders, wrap, strap, and labelOperate Pallet Jacks to move materialsRead and understand Job Instructions, follow instructions as neededComplete orders in a timely fashion and be able to follow a production scheduleKeep accurate countsResponsible for the quality of products manufacturedAble to follow company rule and regulationsQualifications And SkillsEffective communication skills and ability to follow written instructionsAbility to work well with people in a team environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailMinimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentDesire to learn and succeedGood organization skills and reliable work habitsBasic computer skillsPrevious machine operating experience is preferredCapable of lifting up to 30 pounds, as this position requires lifting, bending and moderate physical exertion
