To learn more, please see our Why Work Here blog post.About The RoleThe Finance Advisory Services (FAS) team is a dedicated group of in-country and global associates. We serve as trusted advisors to organizational leadership teams, specializing in financial strategy and sustainability. We guide company-wide budgeting, strategic planning, and financial reporting functions. Our ultimate aim is to ensure financial sustainability and enhance our overall impact.As a Financial Advisory Services Specialist, you will support the Malawi programs' financial reporting, analysis, and monitoring. You will also collaborate with the Global Finance team in rolling out financial policies and tools.You will report directly to the Malawi/Zambia FAS Associate.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and MonitoringYou will conduct monthly BVA (Budget vs Actual) reviews - working hand in hand with Department Heads to identify variancesYou will work closely with Accounting to rectify all miscodings and update current financial projectionsYou will conduct monthly marginal analysis for Malawi programs to provide analytical support on key causesYou will prepare quarterly grant reports for active grants with strict adherence to donor reporting.Administrative WorkYou will support the Human Resources department with a monthly payroll quality check.Career Growth and DevelopmentWe have a strong culture of constant learning and we invest in developing our people.
