Position Manager - Mechanical Maintenance Grade: 11 Business Unit / Function Unit : OIFunction : Engineering Services Location Nira Reports to Head – EngineeringSummary Summary of Job (Purpose/ objective of the job Department organogram to be enclosed) To ensure smooth operations in the plant machinery by taking predictive and preventive measures. Key Responsibilities(Performance Indicators) Analysis of breakdown, failures, corrosion and chronic problems in the Plants. Reduction of B/D and schedule condition monitoring and proper selection of spares. Planning and co-ordinating the procurement and follow-up of piping, equipments & materials required for project work at the unit. To co-ordinate with various contractors, consultants to ensure smooth and fast working. Optimization of Departmental Inventory, budgetary planning and reduce the R&M cost. Studying new jobs being implemented for expansion, modification, Capex jobs and Six Sigma initiatives. To conceptualize / implement schemes related to environment in the specified area. Implementing WCM recommendations and completion of activities related to OHSAS 18001. Impart training to all subordinates related to Safety, Health and Environment and Effective maintenance practices and tools. No. of Reportees 2-3Qualification & Experience B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical with 10-12 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of large integrated chemical complex. Key Competencies ( Technical, Functional & Behavioral) Knowledge of Process Chemical projects execution Sound knowledge in Equipment erection, mechanical piping, HVAC, Equipment qualification, c GMP requirements, structural fabrication. Strong exposure and hands on experience in maintenance of equipments used in chemical process plants. Practical experience of maintenance on TG & DG . Skills and expertise in practiced modern maintenance techniques. Knowledge on DCS / PLC based control system. Strong knowledge in implementing WCM / TPM initiatives in the mechanical operations. Approval HoD / CoD Unit HR
