You will lead the development and execution of customized SEO strategies, collaborating closely with clients, account managers, and the internal teams to achieve measurable growth. Your role involves hands-on SEO work, client communication, on-site visits, overseeing teams and ensuring the delivery of impactful results through effective search engine optimization techniques.A Typical Day Will IncludeClient SEO Strategy Development: Develop and tailor SEO strategies for diverse clients based on their specific goals, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Ensure alignment with each client's business objectives.Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary SEO contact for clients, providing regular updates, performance reports, and strategic insights. Manage client expectations and ensure that SEO deliverables are on time and within budget.Onboarding and Audits: Conduct comprehensive SEO audits for new clients, including keyword research, on-page analysis, technical audits, and competitor benchmarking to identify areas for improvement.Keyword Research and Targeting: Perform in-depth keyword research to discover opportunities, aligning with client needs, target audiences, and search intent across various industries.On-Page & Technical SEO: Lead on-page optimization efforts, including content improvement, metadata, internal linking, and technical SEO tasks like improving site speed, crawlability, and indexability.Off-Page SEO & Link-Building Campaigns: Design and execute link-building strategies, driving high-quality backlinks for clients through outreach, partnerships, and content-based link acquisition methods.Collaboration Across Teams: Collaborate with internal teams such as content creators, paid specialists, web developers, and account managers to ensure holistic client campaigns. Work alongside design and development teams to execute technical recommendations.Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular performance reports for clients, tracking key metrics like organic traffic, rankings, conversion rates, and backlink profiles using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.Client Presentations & Performance Reviews: Present SEO strategies and performance updates to clients during review meetings. Address concerns, discuss future opportunities, and provide data-backed recommendations.Agency SEO Process Improvement: Continuously refine the agency's SEO processes, incorporating new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve client results and team efficiency.Competitor & Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing competitor analysis for clients, providing insights into competitors' SEO performance, emerging trends, and opportunities to outpace competition.Team Management & Mentorship: Lead a team of SEO specialists, overseeing day-to-day activities, setting clear objectives, and providing mentorship. Conduct training sessions to enhance team expertise.Industry Research & Thought Leadership: Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and tools. Share insights internally and contribute to agency thought leadership through blog posts, webinars, or conferences.The Ideal Candidate Will HaveProven experience as an SEO Manager or Senior SEO Specialist in an agency settingExpertise in creating and executing SEO strategies across various industriesStrong client management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProficiency in industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog)Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and CMS systems for technical SEO audits and recommendationsAbility to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and reportingExcellent presentation skills, with experience in client-facing meetings and reviewsFluency in spoken and written English, with strong communication skillsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related fieldOnly shortlisted candidates who meet our requirements will be contacted.DIVERSITY & INCLUSIONAt Omnicom Media Group, our people are our greatest asset.
