Thomson Reuters is seeking a results-driven Manager, Client Project Management to lead our Professional & Consulting Services team. In this pivotal role, you will own a strategic portfolio of client projects, drive on-time, on-budget delivery, and be accountable for team utilization, revenue targets, and revenue hours for assigned practices. Reporting to the Director of the Project Management Office and serving on the PMO Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the Project & Operations Management Team (POM), Resource Management Office, Professional Services Delivery, Sales, and internal Technology and Product teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days per week in our office in Gdansk, Poland. It requires flexibility to accommodate global time zones (attending meetings aligned with US business hours, predominantly mornings US EST and CST) and annual travel up to 30% primarily within EMEA, with occasional global travel.About The RoleIn this opportunity as an Manager, Client Project Management, you will:Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and directly manage a team of 6-12 Client Project Managers, fostering a high-performance culture through comprehensive guidance, coaching, and performance management.Drive team accountability for utilization, monthly revenue hours, and other critical financial targets.Conduct regular 1:1s, develop and engage team members at all levels, and quickly address performance gaps, providing timely and clear feedback to ensure optimal outcomes.Promote and embed PMO Guiding Principles: trust and accountability.Project Portfolio Responsibility & Delivery Excellence:Oversee a portfolio of customer projects from initiation through closure; monitor health, risks, dependencies, and financials; providing hands-on PM support where needed to stabilize delivery and model best practices.Directly lead and project manage select strategic client projects, ensuring successful initiation, execution, and closure.Serve as the primary escalation point for critical project issues, driving rapid resolution and upholding exceptional client satisfaction.Ensure Project Managers are compliant with established PMO processes and methodologies.Leverage data, project backlog portfolio, PM scorecards, utilization reporting, and other tools and systems to drive continuous improvements in predictability and throughput.Strategic & Operational Management:Translate PMO strategy into team-level operating plans and rhythms; prioritize near-term execution while supporting longer-term improvements,Partner with Resource Management and POM team to track utilization and revenue hours against targets; forecast and allocate PM capacity; balance workload, smooth bottlenecks, and anticipate hiring/backfill needs.Champion continuous improvement in processes, templates, and tooling to reduce cycle time and rework.Site Leadership & Engagement:Serve as a strategic site leader for the Gdansk office, representing PMO and PS leadership and cultivating a vibrant, collaborative in-office environment that reflects our TR Values.Organize, facilitate, and volunteer in local company and departmental events, conferences, and initiatives to enhance team and broader employee engagement, acting as a champion for organizational culture.Communication & Stakeholder Management:Maintain proactive, transparent, and actionable communication with senior PMO leadership, Project Owners, Sales, Client Partners, Client Success Managers, and PS Delivery leaders.Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams; set clear expectations on scope, timelines, roles, and communications from project kick-off through closure.About YouYou're a fit for the role of Manager, Client Project Management if your background includes:Experience in project management, professional services, or software implementation, with at least 3 years in a direct leadership role managing large teams of project managers or project delivery consultants.Demonstrated success overseeing a portfolio of concurrent client projects and meeting utilization/revenue hour targets at the team level.Strong track record delivering enterprise software programs, preferably in SaaS/cloud environments with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle Fusion) and related tax/finance platforms.Proficiency across the full project lifecycle: SOW review, planning, budgeting, resource planning, risk/issue management, change control, and closure.Proven people leadership: goal-setting, coaching, performance management, and talent development.Strong portfolio management discipline with data-driven decision-making; comfortable using dashboards, utilization and financial reports, and PM scorecards.Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, negotiation, and escalation handling.Expert command of project management methodologies and tools, guiding teams in the selection and adherence to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall approaches to ensure delivery excellence in a global, matrixed environment.Analytical, structured, and calm approach to managing competing priorities, while maintaining a customer-centric mindset that articulates project management value and identifies upsell opportunities within active engagements.Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar recognized project management certification is highly preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the tax or finance technology domain;
