Chaudhary, the group has seen phenomenal global growth and is also known for its strong CSR efforts through the Chaudhary Foundation.About the RoleAs the Manager – Research & Insight, you will lead the Research Unit of the Group, turning data into actionable insight and driving strategic decisions across our diverse portfolio: FMCG, Motors, Electronics, ISP, Hospitality, Education, Cement and more. You will oversee market audits, customer and consumer research, ROI and impact assessment of marketing and commercial activities, support product launches and diversification decisions, collaborate with business units and manage third-party research agencies. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in complexity and cross-industry environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, build and manage the Research & Insight function across the Group, setting methodology, governance, data frameworks and best practices.Design, execute and oversee market audits, consumer/market research (both qualitative and quantitative), competitor & trend analysis, and strategic research to support business units across FMCG, Motors, Electronics, ISP, Hospitality, Education, Cement.Translate raw data into insight: convert data → insights → strategic actions: identify growth opportunities, product diversification pathways, new market segments, commercial optimisation.Assess and track ROI and impact of marketing and commercial activities (campaigns, launches, brand initiatives, channel strategies) and feed learnings into future planning.Develop and present research-based strategic way-forward documents: for business planning, product launches, diversification, pricing strategy, channel expansion etc.Serve as the internal consultant to business units: collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Sales, Product and Strategy teams to define research objectives, embed insight into decision-making and deliver clear recommendations.Oversee and manage external vendors and agencies (third-party research firms, fieldwork partners) to ensure quality, timeliness, budget adherence and actionable deliverables.Build and maintain a robust data repository / insight library for the Group; ensure consistent metrics, dashboards, and trend trackers are in place.Present research findings and recommendations regularly to senior leadership and business unit heads, ensuring clarity, relevance and actionable outputs.Stay ahead of market, industry, consumer and digital research methodologies and tools; champion new ways of working (e.g., advanced analytics, data visualization, business intelligence platforms).Mentor and manage the research team, fostering continuous improvement, skill development and a curious insight-driven culture.Qualifications & ExperienceMaster’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of relevant experience in research, strategy, or analytics—preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Proficiency in research tools, data visualization, and reporting software.
