Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? We’re establishing a new MRO facility near Porto, Portugal. This location will be repairing engine parts and aircraft components. As part of a well established and trusted company, we’re offering you the unique chance to combine the stability of a successful organization with the excitement of building something new from the ground up!TasksWe’re looking for a dynamic leader to oversee our Tooling & Test Equipment (TTE) and Process Engineering teams. In this role, you’ll ensure our shops are equipped with reliable tooling, robust technical processes, and the support and documentation needed to operate at their best.Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:Organizes, supervises and leads Engineering teams to provide capable TTE, technical processes and support.Leads Engineering teams to provide capable TTE, technical processes, support and documentation.Leads employee relations through clear communication and coaching.Plans, executes and monitors TTE/process projects to meet time, budget and quality targets.Ensures compliance with regulations, safety and environmental requirements.Defines and optimizes targets and KPIs.Assists in incident/deviation analysis and recommendations. Success in this position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.Minimum 5 years of professional experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineeringStrong written and spoken Portuguese and English skills, German desirableProfessional experience in aircraft, engine, component engineering/maintenance, or material planning preferredStrong computer skills (MS Office, SAP)Good knowledge of logisticsHigh customer focus, service mindsetExcellent analytical, planning, flexibility, and decision-making skillsAbility to structure, schedule and plan complex workStrong decision-making and sense of responsibilityPlease send your application in English.Candidates must have the right to live/work in Portugal.Applications will be evaluated based solely on the candidates' merit, without consideration of any other factors.
