Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Lisbon - hybridContract type: Full-timeAbout The RoleOur client, a leading company in the field of engineering and energy systems, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.This role requires a professional with a strong innovation mindset, ownership, and a proactive, hands-on attitude. You’ll play a key role in the design, integration, and implementation of advanced electrical systems, supporting projects focused on energy efficiency and smart technologies.Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and panels. Lead on-site installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Perform site surveys and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams on energy and IoT-based projects. Support hardware integration with firmware or embedded systems. Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and testing protocols. RequirementsRequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical or energy systems. Proven experience with electrical panels, hardware integration, and on-site installations. Familiarity with energy management systems and IoT architectures (Modbus, MQTT). Understanding of commissioning and standard field procedures. Basic knowledge of firmware or embedded systems (a plus). Experience in mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
