Manufacturing Engineer

MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT). Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Manufacturing Engineer. Additionally, you will serve as subject matter expert across vehicle systems (fuel, hydraulic, electrical, ECS, etc.).Required Skills:• 8+ years’ experience supporting aerospace vehicle systems (fuel, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, engines, testing) in a production environment• 8+ years’ experience with production operations and/or engineering• 8+ years’ experience providing design engineering with producibility inputs to shape build strategy• 5+ Years CAD experience (CATIA V4/5, 3DX experience preferred)• Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineering position supporting program start-ups, assembly, and production processesDesired skills :• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate• Project management experience• Atlassian Confluence and JIRA experience• Experience Root Cause and Corrective Action, and FMEA• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and set up production work cells and facility layout changes• Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications, manufacturing planning, & develop work instructions• Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop workaround plans or corrective action plans
