Geo-Environmental Project Manager Location: Kennesaw, GA Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary: They are seeking a seasoned Geo-Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental due diligence and remediation projects. This role involves managing technical teams, overseeing project execution, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), including fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting. Supervise project teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Provide technical oversight and risk management across multiple environmental projects. Mentor and develop staff in both technical and leadership capacities. Prepare proposals, attend client meetings, and maintain strong client relationships. Coordinate with subcontractors for drilling, lab testing, and data acquisition. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Evaluate contaminant transport in soil and groundwater and develop remediation strategies. Promote safety culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Support business development through networking, client engagement, and industry events. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on Phase I/II ESAs. Strong understanding of hazardous waste regulations and the Clean Water Act. Proven ability to manage teams and complex projects. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Preferred Credentials: Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months. Membership in relevant technical associations.
