You’ll play a pivotal role in developing innovative strategies and creative solutions that drive our success, while also helping to build and nurture a team that thrives on creativity and collaboration.Role Purpose:Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will own and deliver the marketing plan for their assigned business unit or designated sectors. You will be instrumental in executing lead generation strategies, managing campaigns, creating content, and nurturing partner relationships. Using data-driven insights, you’ll optimise marketing efforts to achieve business objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, pre-sales, and external partners, will be essential to ensure marketing initiatives effectively address business needs.Key Responsibilities:Marketing plan ownership: Develop and manage the marketing plan for your assigned business unit or designated sectors, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy and business objectives.Lead generation focus: Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns with a primary focus on generating high-quality leads and driving conversion.Collaborative execution: Partner with sales, marketing and other departments to execute integrated marketing strategies. Ensure cohesive and effective implementation of marketing initiatives.Data-driven decision making: Set performance targets, conduct thorough analyses and refine strategies to optimise lead attraction, engagement and conversion.Campaign management: Lead the design, management and execution of marketing campaigns tailored to specific business areas, ensuring alignment with group marketing principles.Creative development: Create compelling messaging and market offerings that drive lead generation and resonate with target personas.Content creation: Oversee the development of key marketing materials, including case studies, webpages and other foundational content (blogs, articles etc) to ensure they effectively communicate our value proposition and position Venture as a thought leader.Marketing activities management: Drive demand and build the brand through various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email, webinars, events and sponsorships.Relationship management: Develop and nurture strategic partner relationships, particularly with Microsoft, to enhance our market position.Industry & competitor awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of marketing trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. Proactively adapt messaging and strategies to keep Venture ahead of the curve. Regular competitor analysis and market benchmarking are essential.Collaboration & management: Manage inputs from the wider business, team, external partners and suppliers to deliver required outcomes. Collaborate with Practice Leads, Head of Sales, Delivery and the wider team to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies.Training & compliance: Complete all mandatory company training within the provided timescales to ensure compliance and up-to-date knowledge.Team leadership progression: Subject to business needs and individual performance, you may have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as Marketing Team Leader after successful completion of your probation period. This could include mentoring junior team members and supporting team development.Qualifications:Education: Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.Experience: 3+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in the digital transformation or technology sector.Additional Experience: Proven experience in lead generation, campaign management and strategic marketing planning.Personal Skills:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong leadership abilities, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and attention to detail.Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Passionate about digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.Professional Skills:Data analysis and reporting: Expertise in analysing marketing data and generating reports to inform strategic decisions.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective messaging and stakeholder engagement.Marketing project management: Proven experience in planning, executing and managing successful marketing projects, campaigns and activities.Content creation: Skilled in content generation and copywriting, with the ability to produce engaging materials such as articles, blogs and whitepapers.Lead generation: Demonstrated ability to generate leads and demand through effective outbound marketing campaigns.Content Management Systems (CMS): Proficient in using CMS platforms to manage and publish content.Marketing automation: Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing; experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys is highly desirable.Social media strategy: Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, BlueSky YouTube) and social media strategy, including paid advertising.Google Analytics: Proficient in using Google Analytics for tracking and optimising digital marketing efforts.Content and engagement production: Experience in producing content and managing engagement across various formats, including video, webinars and SEO/web.Event management: Skilled in planning and executing marketing events and webinars.MS Office Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Senior Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers.Market Intelligence: Demonstrated ability to conduct competitor analysis and apply insights to refine positioning and campaigns.Desired Skills:Experience managing Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and working with channel partners.Understanding of the Microsoft technology stack and its value proposition in the digital transformation space.Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys is highly desirable.Why Join Venture?People-first culture – Work in a company that prioritises wellbeing, inclusivity, and career growth.
