Our training is delivered to students and apprentices on-site, online, in the workplace, or on-campus to give people the skills they need to enrich their communities, support their industries, and strengthen their local economies.By working at TAFE Queensland, you can be part of a highly experienced workforce closely connected with their industries and dedicated to delivering best practices and innovative training.Your OpportunityAs The Marketing Officer, You Will Provide proactive and effective marketing function including online marketing and promotion coordination to support operational marketing requirements and enhance the image of the region.This position reports to the Manager Marketing, PR and EventsThis is a Permanent, Full-time opportunity, unless otherwise determined.The position will be based primarily at South Bank Campus however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.Facilitate a comprehensive range of media, marketing and promotional activities including conceptualising, input into design and implementing strategies, within departmental guidelines.Identify, develop and implement online, e-marketing and social media activities to complement marketing campaigns and strategies, including management of the region’s campaign based websites.Provide support to the marketing team on keeping up to date with online marketing strategies and opportunities.Negotiate, consult and liaise with internal and external clients on a variety of media and marketing issues.Analyse and interpret marketing and promotional policies, protocols and guides.Maintain the strategic focus of the region’s business and its environment, by analysing and identifying marketing and community trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to ensure maximum revenue potential for the region.Undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks relating to delivering quality promotional material and events and regularly review and evaluate marketing strategies.Undertake research and development on matters relating to business functions.Ensure day to day activities align with business operations.Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices.How You Will Be AssessedWithin the context of the role description above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:Ability to innovatively conceptualise marketing and promotional material within departmental guidelines.Proven record of high achievement in the implementation of promotional campaigns and marketing strategies.Take personal responsibility for accurately completing work, both independently and within a team, in order to meet project goals and team priorities.Builds and sustains positive relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders through strong interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills.High level organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Displays the initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment.Mandatory Qualifications/RequirementsWorking with Children Check (Blue Card).
