With more than 60,000 structures completed throughout our 135+ year history, we have the global expertise and strategically-located operations to provide customers world-class storage solutions for even the most complex energy infrastructure projects.OverviewThe Construction Procurement Materials Specialist handles all aspects of Supplier Quality Surveillance associated work and accountable for the expediting Project Materials & deliverables.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand Procurement Contract, Inspection requirementsUnderstand Material specifications & Certifications requirementsIdentify Criticality Rating / Inspection Level for all components for scope of supply, and work with Procurement Manager and PM to create inspection PlanSchedule qualified personnel from Third Party to perform supplier quality surveillances/inspectionsEnsure supplier quality surveillance/inspection records and documentation is developed and maintainedPerform Supplier Audits where requiredDevelop comprehensive Expediting Report for all the long lead items capturing all control points and update on weekly basis.Track Progress and proactively raise concern to Procurement Manager on regular basis.Ensure completion of vendor documentations including not limited to Vendor data, ITP, Inspection notifications, operation manuals etcLocal RequirementsProject Based Assignment on Abu Dhabi visaJob Location is Dubai Office. Travel to Ruwais Project site visits on need basisQualificationsSuitable Engineering degree (typically Mechanical or Welding Engineering) / Diploma EngineeringSkills and BehaviorsKnowledge in applicable Management System documentation.Act as focal point for all Permanent Project Material Vendor Inspections & expediting.Understands project requirements and ensures compliance.Compiles project records and handover to the projects for final documentation related to procurement and suppliers.Can communicate effectively with internal and external disciplines at multiple levels.Preferred Knowledge Of The Following CodesASME Section II, ASME Section V, ASME Section VIII, ASME Section IX, ASTM Material, API 650,API 620, AWWA D100, AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5/B16.47 etc… (including product specific related codes as and when needed)ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Standards
