SPITWATER takes pride in delivering innovative and durable machinery solutions across Australia. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Adelaide, SA, for a Mechanical Fitter. The responsibilities include assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery, performing preventive and regular maintenance, and ensuring all equipment functions efficiently. The Mechanical Fitter will also handle machinery installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in all operations. Qualifications Proficiency in Fitting and Machinery assembly and repairExperience with Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practicesSkills in Machining for equipment modifications or repairsAbility to interpret technical drawings and manualsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsCommitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational proceduresRelevant trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperience in the manufacturing or industrial machinery sector is a plus
