This role manages provider support, scheduling, billing coordination, credentialing, and quality assurance, while serving as a key link between clinical teams and leadership. The manager ensures resources are used effectively and supports organizational goals to maintain efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.Recruiter: Suzie McGuinn || apply@covhlth.comResponsibilitiesOrganizational Alignment Support Covenant Health’s mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives. Promote a culture of collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement. Compliance & Education Partner with the Anesthesia Director to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Coordinate educational training sessions, to include shadow/orientation shifts, and distribute anesthesia meeting communications to appropriate providers. Ensure 100% completion of provider compliance training within required timelines. Customer & Team Support Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with CRNAs, anesthesiologists, medical directors, administrative leaders, nursing staff, and other hospital personnel to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency Provide administrative support to the Anesthesia Service Line, including Medical Directors, Chief CRNAs, and support staff. Respond promptly to provider inquiries in collaboration with anesthesia leadership and administrative teams. Credentialing & Records Management Oversee and support credentialing processes, including licensure and certification tracking. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates. Organize files, contracts and confidential paperwork. Send reminders for licensure expirations, credentials, and compliance training. Operational Coordination Ensure timely completion of ambulatory surgery center data entry into the ProVation system. Serve as the ePreop administrator and liaison. Manage Information Requests from the anesthesia billing company Track and process Continuing Medical Education (CME) requests and reimbursements. Monitor anesthesia providers’ professional dues and licensure fees; facilitate payments and reimbursements promptly. Assist with employment verification and patient record requests. Support Medical Staff Office with annual flu vaccine documentation. Provide administrative support for contract labor, including Locum time sheets and invoice processing. Onboarding Support Maintain communication with Credentialing, Enrollment, and Payroll to ensure provider onboarding Collaborate with HR to support new hire onboarding and ensure training checklists are completed. Scheduling & Communication Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, reporting, and mail distribution. Clearly and effectively communicate with providers, co-workers, and organizational leadership. Presents numerical data effectively. Field and manage incoming calls for the anesthesia department and billing inquiries. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsMinimum Education:None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a Bachelor’s degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university.Minimum ExperienceTwo (2) years of experience in a healthcare administrative role with two (2) years of supervisory experience managing staff; knowledgeable with Joint Commission and NCQA standards.Licensure RequirementNone
