Our ProfileIn 2020, G Mining Ventures (GMIN) was created to acquire direct ownership of projects and capitalize on the value uplift that successful mine development offers. In July 2024, GMIN acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.To Ensure The Achievement Of This Large-scale Project, G Mining Ventures Is Looking For An Experienced And Motivated Individual To Fill The Position OfDriverThe Driver is responsible for transporting goods, passengers, and company personnel safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain company vehicles safely.Transport passengers, staff, or goods to designated locations in a timely manner.Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.Assist with loading and unloading items as needed.Maintain accurate travel and vehicle maintenance logs.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with employees, including expatriate and other corporate visitors.Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle usage and conduct.Any other duties as assigned by the SCM Department.Qualifications/Skills And ExperienceValid Driver’s License 1-3 years of proven experience as a driverAbility to work either independently or as part of a teamMust possess high ethical and professional standards in all dealingsMust possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and pay close attention to detailsMust possess the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal in EnglishWorking ConditionsPosition based in Georgetown OfficeWork Schedule – Monday to FridayCompensation PackagePermanent, full-time roleCompetitive salaryCompetitive benefits, bonus and group insurances
