Network Engineer

Role Description This is a temporary on-site role for a Data Centre Engineer located in Brussels. The Data Centre Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and network equipment within the data center. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the operational uptime of the data center. Additional responsibilities include managing hardware installations, performing system upgrades, and adhering to safety and security protocols. Qualifications Experience with server installation, configuration, and hardware managementKnowledge of networking protocols and systems, including switches and routers (e.g., CCNA/CCNP certification preferred)Expertise in troubleshooting software and hardware issuesFamiliarity with data center operations, maintenance, and physical infrastructureStrong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work on-site and adhere to safety and operational protocolsRelevant certifications or education in IT or computer science (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)Prior experience as a Data Centre Engineer or similar role is an advantage
