At TIBA, a leading company in the freight forwarding sector, specialized in offering international logistics solutions, we seek an Ocean Product Manager Latam: a transversal role responsible for managing and optimizing trade flows across TIBA’s global network.This role ensures commercial and operational alignment, drives growth opportunities, and supports regional and local teams to maximize efficiency and profitability.What will your responsibilities be?Comprehensive Coordination of Intra-TIBA Routes:Supervise, develop, and optimize routes LATAM ↔ MED, LATAM ↔ Asia, MED ↔ AsiaEnsure operational and commercial alignment between regions.Detect synergies to maximize capacity, transit time, and rate competitiveness.Collaboration among Ocean Product Managers:Apply cluster/country and global guidelines to strengthen trade in LATAM, MED, and Asia.Identify export/import opportunities from their respective geographic areas.Coordinate route promotions and services adapted to market realities.Route Coordination:Develop Intra-TIBA traffic within Strategic Corridors.Adjust carrier strategies and routing according to local specificities (e.g. commodity/vertical).Facilitate communication to solve issues and streamline processes.Interaction with Local PRO/SALES Teams by Area of Influence:Boost export flows primarily from their geographical area.Coordinate joint campaigns and offers to attract key clients.Ensure that services meet quality standards and market requirements.Commercial Strategy and Business Development:Implement Global Ocean Product strategies for Intra-TIBA routes, adapted to each region.Negotiate, together with Global Procurement, interregional rates and contracts that optimize margins.Support local sales teams in closing multinational opportunities.KPI Monitoring and Reporting:Measure volumes, margins, and agreement compliance by trade lane and area of influence.Consolidate information from LATAM, Asia, and MED for global tracking.Propose corrective action plans to address deviations.Strategic Relationship Management:Maintain continuous contact with clients, carriers, and key partners across all regions.Represent Intra-TIBA routes in regional and global meetings.Support to the TIBA Network:Act as a reference and coordination point for any inquiries regarding Intra-TIBA routes.Ensure efficient and transparent communication across all regional and local BDMs.What is the profile we are aiming to find?Core Competences:Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions.Strong knowledge of ocean freight and trade lane management.Excellent negotiation and carrier relationship skills.Strategic and analytical mindset with focus on KPIs and profitability.Collaborative leadership, able to work across regions and cultures.Proactive problem-solving and process optimization.
