What you'll do:As Operations Excellence Manager - Plastic Packaging Plant in Cikarang, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. With over eight years' experience navigating the complexities of high-speed manufacturing environments such as FMCG or plastic packaging plants, you bring invaluable insights into optimising production flows while maintaining stringent quality controls. Your hands-on familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools like Kaizen or Six Sigma allows you to drive meaningful improvements across multiple departments. You possess exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams including Production Management, Quality Assurance specialists, Maintenance engineers, HR partners-and more. Your fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English enables you to communicate effectively at all organisational levels. Bachelor's degree in Engineering-preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Polymer Engineering-with strong academic credentials relevant to manufacturing operations.At least 8-10 years of proven experience managing operations within plastic packaging or FMCG environments characterised by high-speed production demands.Demonstrated expertise in overseeing production operations as well as leading quality assurance programmes and continuous improvement projects within complex facilities.Comprehensive understanding of OEE improvement methodologies alongside practical experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles such as Kaizen, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigma.Hands-on experience working with polymer or plastic processing technologies is highly preferred for this role due to its specialised nature.Exceptional leadership abilities combined with strong cross-functional coordination skills that enable effective collaboration between diverse teams.Advanced problem-solving aptitude supported by analytical thinking skills necessary for identifying root causes of inefficiencies or quality issues.Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia coupled with working proficiency in English ensures clear communication across local teams as well as international stakeholders.Ability to support manpower planning efforts through thoughtful resource allocation strategies developed in partnership with HR professionals.Commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged among colleagues from different backgrounds.
