Operations Manager

Role description This role will be part of the Netherlands operations team within the client business line. You will autonomously drive cross-functional initiatives to improve the reliability of our core products, launch new products and support rider growth across the Netherlands.This is an individual contributor role where you'll use sound business judgment, operational knowledge and a customer obsessed mindset to deliver to navigate an array of initiatives to drive growth and improvements for the Netherlands business. You will report to the General Manager Benelux.Role - Growth & Operations ManagerLocation - Amsterdam, NetherlandsMode - Hybrid - 3 days from officeType - ContractExperience Required - 2-5 years max (Not very senior position)What you’ll do:Operational Efficiency: Identify areas to improve operational efficiencyProduct Improvement: Proactively identify and search for new product features or improvements that can enhance the driver & rider experience and increase marketplace efficiencyCross-functional collaboration and project management: Engage with a number of functions across the business - policy, communications, product, marketing, legal and customer supportWhat we’re looking forDemonstrated experience (2-3 years) Strong communication and project management skills requiredProficiency in both Dutch and English is required Preferred QualificationsBusiness Acumen: Understanding of how our business operates and how it makes money and sustains profitable growth, now and in the futureProject management and ability to execute quickly - Plan and project manage multiple projects, having the ability to execute promptly, pivoting where necessary, with an eye for continuous process improvement.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to rapidly changing business conditions and priorities.Familiarity with SQL, AI or automation tools to drive efficiencies in operational and data driven work streamsCross-functional collaboration: Work collaboratively with local, regional and global teams like policy, communications, product, marketing, legal and customer support
