Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:Manage trade lifecycle: capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation across equities, derivatives, and FX.Monitor daily PNL, risk, and margin requirements; ensure accurate reporting to portfolio managers.Oversee cash, collateral, and position management with prime brokers and custodians.Ensure regulatory compliance and support audits/reporting requirements.Collaborate with traders, quants, and developers to streamline workflows and implement automation.Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to minimize risk.Required Qualification, Skills:A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is requiredMinimum 5 years of related work experience, preferably from hedge funds or proprietary trading firms.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, disciplined, and able to operate independently as well as part of a team
