Options Trader - Crypto markets

Top proprietary trading firm specialising in quantitative and high-frequency strategies across both traditional and digital asset markets and looking to hire an experienced Options Quant Trader to join a growing team distributed between Singapore and London. You will be part of a team building and expanding the options business within the organization. This role is ideal for someone who has previous crypto options experience, has an entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance autonomy with strong team collaboration.What you’ll do:Research, design, and deploy options market-making strategies across multiple exchanges.Architect and maintain proprietary components—pricing models, execution algorithms, and risk controls.Monitor market microstructure, liquidity, and volatility in real time to capture edge and manage exposures.Build and automate research/trading tools to improve profitability, latency, and operational efficiency.Run post-trade analysis, optimize execution quality, and refine parameters.Partner with traders, quants, engineering, risk, and operations to enhance models/tools and ensure seamless trade flow.What we’re looking for:3-7 years in options trading (crypto preferred), with experience in both OTC and exchange trading.Deep understanding of options pricing, execution logic, and risk management within HFT/market-making contextsProven track record of profitability within a proprietary market-making environment.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Programming proficiency in Python, C++ (nice-to-have)Ability to manage large, complex positions and make fast, data-driven decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and teamwork skills; thrives in collaborative, flat-structure environments.Compensation is highly competitive and contingent on experience.
