With 42 years of experience in the international market and 19 years in Romania, HN Services means:Digital transformation and IT professionals;Diversity of technical roles;Wide IT market exposure in different domains of activity;A dedicated internal Training Center in software development.Requirements and job description:Maintenance and support of day-to-day business in the database teamImplementation of database services after commissioningCreate new databases and environments in an extended RAC environmentSet up services for applications considering specifics such as not RAC capableGuarantee reliability or proactive participation in measures to avoid production downtimeSolving production downtimes competently and promptlyConversion of Oracle CDB/ PDB databasesAnalyzing and defining cardinalities for old applications on RACParticipation in release assignmentsProvision of participation services from the database team in projects, e.g. Move2Cloud and in regulatory requirements as well as POCsSystematically analyze security gaps and develop solutionsAnalyze and fix performance issues · Optimize database monitoringSet up backup and ensure fast recovery times through regular testing during environment setupOnboarding new DB users to CyberArkSupport of the Oracle Apex application as well as participation in the patching of theseParticipation and further development of the Database Information System (DBI)By arrangement, in exceptional cases, readiness for weekend assignments and on-call duty requiredSupport in the automation of pseudonymization of data after a database rebuild by means of ETL developmentSystematically evaluate the DB parameters across all databases and script necessary changes to further automateProvide Views and Selects for database information systems to implement systematic quality checksFurther develop Ansible scripts for inline patching and extend them for PDBParticipation in patching Oracle databases and, if necessary, other DB technologiesEnsure Git versioningStandardize Oratab and Oracle Home settingsAdapting existing scripts for Cloud MoveFurther automation for environment setupsQualification and requirements:Sound and long-standing knowledge of database technologies and their operating processes (Oracle, PostgreSQL, ideally also MSSQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch)Good experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud CustomerVery good knowledge of shell and ansible scriptingGood knowledge of Git High technical understanding in IT infrastructure servicesIdeally, in-depth expertise in the development, operation and sourcing of data center services in the banking environmentSeveral years of experience in IT migration and/or development projects, ideally cloud-based and/or experience in migrating databases in a data center move desirableGood knowledge of common project management methods (classic, agile)Experience in working with common collaboration tools, such as Confluence, JiraHigh integration capabilityStructured, goal-oriented and solution-oriented way of workingStrong communication and organizational, persistent, sustainableCommunication in English requiredOnly eligible candidates will be contacted for further information and start of the recruitment process.
