Role: Paid Social Media SpecialistWork Setup: Remote, freelance, paid on hourly rate only—no added benefits.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm EST/EDT (accounting for daylight savings in the US)Hourly Rate: $7OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Paid Social Media Specialist to lead and manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, launching, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns that deliver measurable ROI for our clients. This role requires strong expertise in paid social strategy, audience targeting, creative testing, and performance analysis across multiple platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & PlanningCollaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define campaign goals, audience segments, and KPIs.Develop comprehensive paid social strategies aligned with business objectives.Identify best-fit platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) for target audiences and campaigns.Campaign Setup & ExecutionLaunch and manage campaigns across Facebook/Meta Ads Manager and other paid social platforms.Develop creative briefs, ad copy, and variations tailored to each platform’s best practices.Implement conversion tracking, pixels, and analytics integrations.OptimizationMonitor campaign performance daily and adjust targeting, budgets, bids, and creatives to maximize efficiency.Conduct A/B testing on ad variations, creative formats, and landing pages.Maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) while managing cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-acquisition (CPA).Reporting & AnalysisCreate weekly and monthly reports with key insights, performance metrics, and recommendations.Use platform analytics, Google Analytics, and third-party tools to assess campaign effectiveness.Clearly communicate findings and next steps to clients and team members.Trend Monitoring & Platform UpdatesStay current with social media advertising trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates.Recommend new strategies, creative approaches, and audience opportunities to enhance results.Qualifications2+ years of hands-on experience managing Facebook/Meta Ads and other paid social media platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.).Proven track record of running successful paid campaigns that drive conversions and revenue.Strong understanding of audience targeting, bidding strategies, campaign objectives, and creative testing.Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and familiarity with other paid social ad platforms.Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, UTM tagging, and remarketing strategies.Strong reporting and analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
