The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all payment operations and transactions within the MENA region. This role is pivotal in driving our continued growth by onboarding new Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and implementing payment solutions that optimize the client journey.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for payment operations in the MENA regionIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to expand our payment networkManage relationships with existing PSPs and banking partners to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectivenessOversee the end-to-end payment processing cycle, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirementsCollaborate with internal teams, including compliance, technology, and business development, to implement new payment solutions and enhance existing onesAnalyze payment data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and optimize payment acceptance ratesStay abreast of the latest developments and regulations in the MENA payments landscapeProvide expert guidance on payment-related matters to internal stakeholdersQualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a Payments Manager or in a similar role within the financial services, fintech, or FX/brokerage industryIn-depth understanding of payment systems, processes, and regulations in the MENA regionDemonstrable experience in onboarding and managing relationships with PSPsStrong knowledge of banking systems and various payment methods prevalent in the MENA regionFamiliarity with payment platforms and technologiesDesired Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approachStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
